Unleash your inner wild child at PlayLAH! this Chinese New Year, as the family-friendly carnival brings out its best stuff to keep you entertained over the festive weekend. First, there’s the towering 9m-high rooster slide for you to dive down headfirst. Then there’s the 18m-long bouncy obstacle course that you can race your way through. But if getting physical isn’t really your thing, you can also learn how to fly a drone or create your own 3D hologram at the fair.
For those who believe in the ‘lifelong learning’ mantra, you’ll get the opportunity here to find out more about CNY, its traditions and the customs between different dialect groups. Also look out for daily performances of the traditional arts and dances, and keep little ones busy with creative workshops on making zodiac red packets, bookmarks and even coin banks.
The festival is free to enter, but if you pre-register your attendance online, you’ll get $5 worth of credits to use at the event.
