Cue the metal music — residents in Punggol will be getting a pretty rad bus service that will transport them directly from their ulu neighbourhoods straight to the Central Business District. The service gets an appropriately radical bus service number too: 666, The Number of the bus Beast.
Of course, the fact that the new bus service possesses a devilish digital sequence aren’t missed out by netizens, who — of course — left smart ass comments on the Land Transport Authority (LTA) Facebook page.
Bus service 666 is just one of the many other new City Direct Services that’ll transport residents in the heartlands straight to the city on weekday mornings and evenings. Folks living in Clementi, Dover, Ang Mo Kio, Bedok and Yishun will soon be able to enjoy the direct services when March comes around — more details available on MyTransport.sg.
