Death From Above: Man arrested for tossing rice cooker, flower pots and more from 11th floor

A rice cooker, a trolley, flower pots and more house-ware came raining down from the 11th floor of Block 16 along Upper Boon Keng Road early yesterday morning.

Residents at the foot of the block scrambled for cover as the items smashed onto the ground and damaged three cars parked below.

A witness informed Lianhe Wanbao that over 10 items had been thrown down, a hearty list that comprises of four flower pots, a rice cooker, a trolley, pots, ceramic dishware, a telephone and metal cups.

Police have since arrested the 60-year-old man responsible for raining death from above. Reportedly,  he has a history of mental illness.

A Mitsubishi, a Volkswagen and a Toyota car got hit in varying degrees from the killer litter. The Mitsubishi’s bumper got dented and the Volkswagen was left with scratches on its bonnet.

The owner of the Toyota will be infuriated of course by the hole in his car’s roof and the shattered side window — damage caused by the plummeting rice cooker.
