If this doesn’t make a hoarder out of you, we don’t know what will.
NTUC Enterprise today launched a $35-million “Big Value Bag” campaign meant to help Singaporeans manage the rising cost of living.
It’s like having a booklet full of coupons, except you don’t really need to present anything to get a discount or a deal. You just need to be there — with a huge-ass recyclable shopping bag.
At NTUC FairPrice supermarkets, there’s a 10 per cent discount on all house brands like FairPrice, FairPrice Gold, Pasar and Pasar Organics.
At NTUC Foodfare coffee shops and food courts, coffee and tea will now cost $0.60 and $0.70 all-day long.
At Unity pharmacy, you get the third item for free when you purchase the house-brand for supplements like Omega3 fish oil, calcium and glucosamine with chondrotin.
Even NTUC Income has incentives. Tertiary graduates will get $1,000 cashback when they sign up for a Regular Premium Life Policy with a minimum annual premium of $2,000, while motorcycle insurance customers get a $30 rebate.
All of the offers are good until Dec 31, except for the motorycle insurance which is on offer from Sep 2015 to Aug 2016.
