Electronic duo Darkside made up of Nicolas Jaar and Dave Harrington, will play at SCAPE on Apr. 6.
They can each draw a formidable crowd on their own (did you see Nicolas Jaar at Laneway last year?), but together, they’re a force to be reckoned with. Their first album Psychic made it to no. 12 on the Top 50 Albums chart in Pitchfork’s 2013 Reader’s Poll and the 11-minute opening track “Golden Arrow” (watch video below), was described as “11 minutes of instrumental excellence” by Spin.com.
Darkside is the second act to be announced as part of The Gathering, a new live music series presented by Forefront Asia, after Empire of the Sun’s Feb. 21 gig.
