But whatever, Damian Ng’s story caught significant traction on Facebook, whether or not it’s true.
The questionable encounter with the supernatural both Ng and his girlfriend experienced arose after watching The Conjuring 2 (pretty good movie BTW, though not as strong as the first one) in Sarawak, Malaysia. After returning to their room at The Imperial Hotel around 2.30am last Friday, the girlfriend saw a freshly-drawn cross on the mirror of their bathroom.
“After brushing her teeth, she came out of the toilet asking me if I pranked her with a cross drawn on the mirror in the toilet. I was puzzled, as I was resting on the bed all the while and I thought she was trying to prank me.”
“I then asked her how that could be me when she was the one standing in front of the mirror all the time. Furthermore, if I were to do that, she would not have miss my presence.”
They then noped the hell out of there and got a change of room. There’s even a part about praising Imperial Hotel’s accommodating staff and its convenient location — very Social Media Influencer. Ng is a blogger after all.
