Australian fast-fashion retailer Cotton On Group has set up its Asian headquarters in Singapore, as part of its global expansion plan.
The company plans to hire a total of 200 staff by June 2018 for its various strategic operations in Singapore, ranging from design, e-commerce, marketing, store development, to technology and innovation.
Singapore’s strength as a global hub and strong network of partners in data analytics, digital marketing, payments and supply chain management will be invaluable to Cotton On in its bid to capture a share of the projected US$525 billion Asian e-commerce this year.
Started in 1991, the Cotton On Group has since expanded globally to include stores in Hong Kong, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore and the US.
