Bless this well-intentioned passer-by who wanted to do a bit of public service for the greater good. Last night, someone called the cops over a “suspicious-looking” sack with an imprinted dollar sign (yes, a literal drawstring money bag) that was apparently left behind at a carpark in Sengkang.

When a police officer visited the scene along Compassvale Street around 10pm, the sack was discovered to just be a… cushion. But hey, props to the caller for being paranoid enough to care in the first place.

Shin Min Daily News reported that passer-by who called the cops felt that something was amiss about the “money bag”, and took action just in case.

Police confirmed to The Straits Times that they found nothing out of the ordinary. It seems that you can actually get the “suspicious” money sack soft cushion online too via local online retailers MEYKRS for just $29.90.

Funnily enough, MEYKRS also sells a cushion in the shape of a cartoon bomb — and if someone calls the cops over that, we are proper done for as a nation.
