Convicted pastor Kong Hee speaks out about verdict; shows no sign of remorse at all

He was found guilty on all charges of embezzling over $50 million in church funds, and yet City Harvest Church founder Kong Hee seems to think that he and five other church leaders have done no wrong.

Not one iota of an apology was found in Kong’s first public statement about the verdict, which was recently posted on his Facebook page

Huh.

He even asks his congregation (whose money were misappropriated) to continue supporting him and the five others found guilty.

“Please keep praying for me and those involved in the trial, for our families, and especially for the congregation of City Harvest Church, which I love so dearly with all my heart.”

No eating of humble pie nor admission of guilt here, folks — just pure faith in God’s grace and love.
