Hey Sengkang peeps, good news. Compass Point, uh, 1 Sengkang Mall, no, Compass One has set its reopening date for September, after 11 months of upgrading works. Besides this facelift, the heartland mall will feature more than 50 new retailers, such as electronics store Challenger, optical shop Owndays and eateries like Royal London Duck and Paradise Hotpot. These will sit alongside returning names like Cold Storage, Kopitiam, Sengkang Public Library, Popular, Royal Sporting House and Pizza Hut.
So far, 95 percent of the building has been leased out, and several tenants have moved in last month.
When you pay the mall a visit in September, look out for larger common areas, a children’s playground and an expanded library space over two floors, as well as promos, game booths and performances in line with the reopening.
