Classic songs from the swingin’ sixties in Singapore remastered and released on new compilation

Not many of you millennials may know this, but Singapore actually had a pretty vibrant and renowned local music scene back in the swinging sixties.

Though the likes of The Quests, BeeJays and more may no longer be seen again in its previous glory, their classic tracks have undergone a new lick of paint and lovingly curated into the EMI 60s, a compilation of homegrown pop music from the era.

Thanks to Universal Music Singapore, the tracks in the album have been carefully restored, digitally re-mastered and will be released simultaneously on CD and digital formats. Old favourites like The Quests’ “Mr Rainbow”, Sugiman Jahuri’s “Our Last Goodbye”  and more should take folks down memory lane.
