Chef Shen Tan has left Ujong, and we couldn’t be happier

Popular chef Shen Tan is on a roll despite recently ending her stint as Executive Chef at Raffles Hotel restaurant Ujong.

Tan’s ‘modern Singaporean’ cuisine first took off with the shuttered Wok & Barrel, and now she’s busy sharing that expertise, as well as her knack for F&B operations, with other businesses. Her current adventure with foodie event company Gastrogig involves lotsa pork — you can see all the action on her Instagram page.

It doesn’t stop there — Shen Tan is also conducting cooking classes at ToTT. If you want to learn how to prepare kong bak and kaya sticky buns (featured in ToTT’s recently published 365 Days of Fun: Recipes for Any Occasion), the next class is on Oct. 18.

Now doesn’t all that sound like a plan. Good luck, Chef!
