And now Malaysian national Yong Chun Yoong, 24, will be jailed three months for theft and assault.
The former casino croupier, now unemployed, reportedly contacted the 23-year-old prostitute and booked an appointment with her on May 18.
After his post-coital shower, Yong stole his victim’s wallet which contained about $500 in cash, a gold chain worth $200 and an ATM card.
“When the victim emerged, Yong handed her the fee and hurried out of the room. It was only when she wanted to put the money into her wallet that she realised it was missing,” reports The Straits Times.
She pursued him in her towel and confronted him in the lobby of Goodwill Mansion on Balestier Road. He pushed and punched her in the head. The woman filed a police report the next day and Yong was arrested as he tried to exit the country through Woodlands.
Mr Cheapskate reportedly used the cash to pay off his bills and living expenses.
