On Saturday afternoon, a traffic accident occurred in Woodlands, resulting in four people taken conscious to the hospital. Naturally, a dash cam video surfaced on social media soon after, showing a car coming from the opposite direction on the road, crashing straight into a Foodpanda rider on a motorcycle. The 19-year-old went flying through the air as the out-of-control vehicle smashed into the car recording the footage.
The police confirmed they were notified of an incident involving a car, a motorcycle, and a van along Woodlands Ring Road towards Woodlands Drive 71 around 2pm on Saturday. The Singapore Civil Defence Force sent two ambulances to the scene.
According to The Straits Times, the four that were taken to the hospital included the Foodpanda rider and the three people in the van — a 43-year-old male driver and two female passengers aged 7 and 29. The victims sustained superficial injuries.
