A 75-year old man was injured when a car ran him down at Lorong Chuan on Wednesday afternoon. A 14-second video showed that the man had suffered what appeared to be serious injuries to his legs, with a small pool of blood leaking outwards.
Nearby onlookers immediately attended to the victim, and one of them can be seen holding an umbrella to shield him from the sun’s rays.
In the report by The Straits Times, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) was alerted at approximately 2pm to the incident, which was located just outside a petrol station. The victim has since been taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, and we sincerely hope he’s on the road to recovery.
The police is currently investigating the matter.
