A cabbie had to be conveyed to hospital in the wee hours of the morning today when his taxi flipped over in an accident along Farrer Road.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) were alerted to the scene at 1.20am and deployed an ambulance, which later on conveyed the cabbie to National University Hospital.
How the accident occured and the extent of the driver’s injuries are unclear, but it must have been pretty bad. The Straits Times found the turtled Comfort taxi lying across two lanes leading into an underpass, while a sign on the road divider had been uprooted.
