It’s official. Wealth manager Anton Casey, who was recently fired from his company CrossInvest (Asia) for his derogatory Facebook posts, has left the building.
According to The Independent UK, the man was last seen boarding a Singapore Airlines flight to Perth on Jan. 24 with his beauty queen wife Bernice Wong and their five-year-old son.
In the meantime, businesses have been jumping at the opportunity to get something out of the situation, starting with Scoot‘s dig, a caricature ad bearing all the characters in Casey’s family promoting their flights to Perth. Distasteful? Maybe. But it worked. The promo tickets sold out on the same day.

Scoot wasn’t the first business to take a dig at Anton Casey.
On Jan. 22, Guillemard bar The Tuckshop uploaded a Facebook photo of a sign they’d put up outside, which said, “Wanker Special! $120 pints for Anton Casey. $12 pints for the rest of us poor Singaporeans.”
According to The Independent‘s article, Anton Casey told The Straits Times before he left that hoped to return to Singapore, which he still considered home.
“I also hope the people of Singapore, my adopted home, will forgive me over time… Singapore is our home, and we hope to return when we feel safe,” he’d said.
