Budget carrier Scoot to commence Europe flights next year, starting with Athens

Now you can indulge your wanderlust desires without breaking the bank, thanks to budget carrier Scoot’s plan to commence flights to Europe starting next year. First up? The Greek capital of Athens on June 20, 2017. If that destination is anywhere on your travel bucket list, we suggest you firm up your itinerary quickly, ’cause there’s an ongoing promo from now till the end of August, where one-way fares to Athens start from $288 (including taxes) for economy class, and $888 for business class. That’s mind-blowingly affordable.

Departing four times a week —Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday — on Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners, the flights are set to take off at 2am (Singapore time) and land in Athens around 8.30am (Athens time). This new service is not only Scoot’s first long-haul flight between Asia Pacific and Europe — it’s also the longest one operated by a low-cost carrier.

If you’re making a booking soon, don’t forget to use the promo code GREEKON to get 10 percent off selected FlyBag and FlyBagEat fares.
