A Singapore homeowner caught a smol thief – and the giggles – when a home security camera captured a frisky feline checking it out.
The dapper villain, dressed in black and white, scaled a door gate with its little paws at a Bukit Batok home yesterday to get a good look at a doorbell camera before nimbly climbing back down the way it came. Fortunately for the internet, the camera was motion-activated.
“My doorbell detects motion so it started recording when this catburglar decided to pay a visit,” the caption read.
The video was timestamped around 7pm last night.
The clip shows the kitty climb just out of frame before stepping down to the right height to peek its head out of the gate to stare straight into the camera for a few solid seconds before realizing it wasn’t something it could murder. Fortunately, curiosity did not kill the cat as it rather skillfully spider-climbed back down (or at least out of frame).
Some called the kitty “spider cat” and another thought it behaved more like a monkey instead.
