A bloated corpse was fished out of Geylang River last Saturday evening.
According to Channel NewsAsia, the body of a man recovered by Singapore Civil Defence Force divers was believed to have been dead for at least a day.
The authorities were first alerted to the floating cadaver around 5pm near Geylang Lorong 40. Investigations are currently ongoing.
