On Friday afternoon, a bloodied man in his 20s was spotted at Northpoint Shopping Centre, a heartland mall in Yishun. It is believed that he had multiple injuries and staggered out of the toilet on the third floor, only to collapse in front of Cantine food court.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force was alerted to the incident at 1.22pm, and dispatched one ambulance. The man was then taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.
An onlooker at the scene assumed it was a murder attempt, as the man was unconscious and in blood-soaked clothes, and sent out the tweet below.
