The “I got hacked” excuse is a privilege this self-important chick doesn’t deserve

It has come to our attention that Singaporean blogger Janiqueel (nope, never heard of her) has been receiving some major flak after netizens found out about a certain email she sent out to a hair salon in VivoCity.

In the email, Janiqueel or Janice Lee accused Conrad Chua of Lacoco Hair Salon – VivoCity of being a jerk and apparently gave him 24 hours to acknowledge her earlier email requests for a free haircut or risk having the salon’s reputation damaged.

Said Chua, the blogger wanted a free hairdo at Lacoco Hair Salon and gave three days notice. After turning down her request, Chua received another email containing Lee’s blog statistics, which he ignored. That was when Lee sent the offending email.

In retaliation, Chua uploaded a screenshot of the email to Facebook.

The post of course, has gone viral, but that’s not where it ends.

Presumably freaking out from the bad publicity she ended up getting, Lee issued an apology to Chua on her blog’s Facebook page, with the excuse that her email accounts and social media platforms were compromised at the time the email was sent (basically, she’s denying the entire thing).

Nobody’s buying it, of course.

Said one Facebook user, “who are you trying to kid? Why would any hacker even bother to hack your account? To make sure you’re given a free haircut? Seriously?”

Another stated that her apology just made her look even more shallow than she already is.
