Local blogger, healthcare worker and overall hero — at least for Singaporeans championing his cause — Roy Ngerng Yi Ling, has submitted his proposal to be a Nominated Member of Parliament (NMP).
This comes just two days after Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong sent him a lawyer’s letter demanding an apology and that he take down a post on The Heart Truths accusing the PM of corruption.
He’s removed the offending post, but Ngerng is believed to be deliberating still on the apology.
