Lifestyle writer and freelance emcee Elizabeth Boon may have shot to fame for her hilarious #HireMeLeh post-grad photo series, but she’s on to crafting the next sequence of memes starring herself yet again.
Envisioning a dating app à la Pokémon Go, Boon sardonically proposes a way to head out to the real world and find wild dates to catch ’em all.
“Start the hunt by exploring as many places as you can,” Boon writes on her blog. “Dates love public places like malls and cafes. Visiting different sorts of places can give you a better variety of dates.”
Just like Pokémon, lot of Types exist in Paktormon Go. There’s the Clingy/Jealous-Type — easy to encounter but difficult to capture; The Party Girl-Type — appears mostly at night to look for hot spots; and even The Influencer-Type — found at Instagram-worthy places, usually with a DSLR or personal photographer.
Beware the dreaded Out Of Your League-Type though, they can only be found in the one place you’d rather not be: The Friendzone. Oof.
