There’s a fake site going around selling slashed rate tickets to Singapore’s animal park and its operator is taking serious action.

Singapore Zoo operator Mandai Wildlife Reserve today said they have reported a fake phishing site to the police with a domain starting with “singaporezoo.online.” It is selling admission tickets at S$10 for adults and free for children. From the screenshot, it looks nearly identical to the actual site.

“We are aware of a website impersonating Mandai Wildlife Reserve and offering admission tickets to Singapore Zoo at a discounted rate of $10 and have reported this to the authorities,” they wrote in a social media post.

The actual price for adult tickets to the Singapore Zoo are S$48 for non-residents and S$43.20 for Singapore residents.

The fake site had apparently already been blocked by authorities. When Coconuts tried to access the site this afternoon, we instead received a notice that said the police had deemed it as a “suspected scam website.”

Mandai reminded the public that all tickets should be bought from their official site and authorized travel agents.

“We urge the public to not fall for any other phishing sites claiming to sell our tickets as they are not authorised by us and are likely to be fraudulent,” they wrote.

Singapore Zoo recently launched its latest glamping program that lets visitors camp in the wild. The park’s neighbor, Bird Paradise, which is home to some 3,500 birds, will be opening next month
