All we can say about this is… best of luck paying for damages in this traffic accident. On Wednesday morning, a Toyota driver made the very pricey mistake of colliding into the rear of a Lamborghini, which in turn caused the supercar to crash into the back of an SUV.
The accident along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5 took place around 11:46am according to the timestamp of a dash cam clip circulating online. The video itself was recorded from the rear of the Lamborghini, capturing the moment when the Toyota driver was unable to brake in time, subsequently causing the three-vehicle collision.
The camera also captured the intensity of the impact — you can see how hard the Toyota driver was knocked forward in his seat. The Lambo driver turned out okay, judging from the footage of him getting out of his car to do some yelling.
In any case, the driver will definitely have to foot the bill for repairs for both the crumpled Lamborghini and the SUV it crashed into. We don’t know how much it’ll cost but what’s for sure is that it’ll be what folks refer to as “sky-high”.
