Apparently, two huge-ass rats dropped from the air-conditioner ducts — one of which was said to have sustained a broken leg and couldn’t scurry off. A William Lim caught the incident and uploaded it on his Facebook page.

Bedok Mall’s management however assured The Straits Times that a pest control company was immediately called in to handle the situation on Oct 18, when the icky incident occured. The rats were caught the next day.

Currently, preventive measures have been stepped up — more traps have been laid out and pest control checks are conducted daily instead of weekly. No rodent activity has been detected ever since.
