Christopher Chua, 21 and a full-time national serviceman, said the police visited him at about 11am yesterday to inform him that his father, stepmum and eight-year-old stepsister had died in a motorcycle accident in Batam, reports The New Paper.
His dad, Chua Kam Heng, 47, was a claypot rice stall assistant in Beach Road. He had left for Indonesia the night before with his new family to settle some bills.
