Flight safety instructions sure didn’t include a part about delivering a baby on a plane, but crew members of Jetstar Asia managed to handle one after departing from Changi Airport.
In commemoration of the unique childbirth, the mother even named the newborn baby boy Saw Jet Star, who holds the title as the first baby to be delivered on a Jetstar Asia flight. We foresee a lot of questions and regret over his name in the future.
Saw Jet Star was delivered safely onboard flight 3K583 by a team of three doctors and crew members when the plane landed in Yangon last Friday, with both mother and son in good health after being discharged from a local hospital. The boy may also be the youngest person to be endorsed by the budget airline, receiving $1,000 worth of baby supplies from Jetstar Asia.
