Asia Pacific’s first pro bono creative agency Creatives for Causes launched in Singapore

Three local creatives have teamed up to set up Asia Pacific’s first pro bono creative agency called Creatives for Causes (CFC).

As a platform for creatives to carry out pro bono work for charities and Non-Governmental Organisations, CFC intends to raise the profile of community service groups and social enterprises across Singapore. Creative volunteers can offer services such as photography, videography, copywriting , graphic design, public relations and social media marketing to various organisations in need.

On the other side of things, charities and community service project groups will need to pay a posting fee of $100 to tap into CFC’s network of 150 volunteers comprising of young marketing professionals and students. Social enterprises will have to pay a slightly higher fee of $150.

“We see this as a win-win situation for both charities and volunteers. There are many students and young professionals eager for real world experience or to use their skills and creativity for a good cause,” says CFC Creative Director Kevin Ng. “At the same time, charities and social enterprises are often doing good work but lack the resources to market themselves”.

Besides volunteering opportunities, creatives can also obtain freelance assignments and jobs which will be regularly shared through their network.

The team also plans to expand CFC into the Southeast Asian region to reach out to overseas charities.
