As English Premier League stars Arsenal FC gear up for their highly anticipated showdown against the all-star Singapore Select XI team in the Barclays Asia Trophy tonight, some of the lads took some time off from training for cultural immersion yesterday morning.
Arsenal’s top lads Francis Coquelin, Laurent Koscielny, Aaron Ramsey and Theo Walcott managed to tuck into some succulent local fare, giving the thumbs up to satay and beef rendang prepared by The Fullerton Bay Hotel’s The Clifford Pier restaurant. Just don’t expect any love for durians from Arsenal FC though. Other than satiating their appetites, the team also managed to take some pretty awkward promo pictures, like this one below.
The gunners also held a training session in front of fans yesterday evening at the National Stadium, and you can bet that the assembly of fans who came to watch expressed more enthusiasm than anything ever seen for S.League matches.
