Arrested: Three men who allegedly stabbed Singaporeans in Ho Chi Minh City club

Last month, a night out in a Vietnamese club for several Singaporeans turned into a horrific brawl.

On Wednesday, three Vietnamese men who purportedly stabbed at least two Singaporeans at a Ho Chi Minh City party were arrested, according to TODAY. The altercation occurred at DC Club in the Cong Qunyh District on Feb 27, when Singaporean Tan Chee Boon banged into Vietnamese Duong Cong Trang. The man failed to apologize immediately, so Trang rounded up two friends and headed over to Tan’s table.

Trang then stabbed Tan with a dagger, and the two suspects started throwing bottles and glasses at the others. Tan’s friend, Shi Zhi Xiang, allegedly tried to intervene and received stab wounds in the head. A third Singaporean was reportedly injured as well.

When a security guard stepped in to stop the attack, the culprits escaped while the Singaporeans were sent to the hospital. They finally returned to Singapore on Mar 2. The police have arrested the suspects this week after aid from security footage, and are investigating other possible attackers involved in the incident.
