The cops have arrested a 30-year-old man for his alleged involvement in a viral video that saw the suspect having sex in public right by the railings outside the infamous Orchard Towers.
Police revealed in a press release that they received a report of a man and woman banging along the pavement of Claymore Drive on July 22 around 12:16am. A video clip of the couple’s vigorous undertaking went viral, depicting the two in partial states of undress and not giving a damn to the hollering audience they attracted.
Officers from Tanglin Police Division managed to establish the identity of the man through CCTV footage and follow-up investigations, but have yet to figure out the identity of the woman.
“Efforts to establish the identity of the woman are still ongoing,” police said.
If convicted of committing an obscene act in a public place, the suspect could face up to three months and/or a fine.
