Yeah, you guys have all probably seen the clip by now. A woman of the no chill persuasion flew in a demented rage on Monday evening at Tiong Bahru Plaza’s Owndays outlet — both physically and verbally abusing the shop staff.

It’s a harrowing clip for sure, with the two women simply enduring the beat down by the lady, who refused to calm the eff down even when multiple passersby and security officers tried (and failed) to intervene. Obscenities, racist slurs and lots of yelling in that spectacles shop that night.

As to how it all started in the first place, Owndays Singapore issued a statement. Apparently, another lady had gone into the shop to hide from No Chill Woman, but the latter started assaulting the shop staff during the altercation. Major props to the Owndays staff members too, who both had the patience of a saint not to hit back.

Police were alerted to the incident just before 10pm on Monday, and have since arrested the aggro lady. AsiaMalls — which manages Tiong Bahru Plaza — informed Channel NewsAsia that the two Owndays staff members who were assaulted had gone for a medical check-up yesterday.

This wouldn’t be the first ugly incident at the recently revamped Tiong Bahru Plaza either. Back in February, another no chill individual blew up at the mall’s Starhub outlet, and it took a passerby to step in and defend the shop’s staff member.
