Hong Kong actor and film producer Andy Lau has expressed his interest to work with Singapore filmmakers, but also said that he has little chance to do so due to his commitments back in Hong Kong.
Lau stated this during the Dec. 4 press conference of his latest film Firestorm.
According to Channel NewsAsia, Lau is also keen to invest in local films and is not too bothered about getting a good profit from his investment as long as they appeal to him.
He is also open to sharing his experiences with promising filmmakers here and made a call to anyone who is interested to contact him.
Firestorm, hosted by ScreenSingapore, is set to officially release on Dec. 12 with its premiere at Resorts World Sentosa.
