Amos Yee gets sucker-punched by middle-aged stranger, scores points for public sympathy

Sure he may seem like cocky, brash teen but Amos Yee certainly didn’t deserve this.

As the teen made his way to the State Courts for a pre-trial conference earlier today, a middle-aged man in a red shirt approached Yee and slapped him (hard) before running away and shouting. The incident was captured on video by Channel NewsAsia

What’s disappointing is the fact that none of the many reporters and cameraman who were present at the scene actually chased after the attacker and apprehended him. Nice going guys, way to go for schadenfreude.

#AmosYee was slapped by a stranger outside the court house. “Sue me, come and sue me!” the man shouted and fled.

Yee’s lawyers have already advised the family to lodge a police report. The teen was alone at the time as his father walked had already walked into court a couple of minutes earlier.

As for the attacker, congrats on being a pansy for landing a sucker-punch on a kid and running away like a little bitch.
