Nearly a week after sofas started dropping from the sky, another recent incident of falling debris transpired — this time in Bedok, and this time injuring an unfortunate passerby.
According to various reports, a man had to be conveyed to Changi General Hospital after he was injured by an air-conditioning unit that apparently fell and hit him yesterday afternoon. The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) responded to the case at 3018B Bedok North Street 5 around 5:40pm.
No clear details on how the accident took place, but one only needs to see just how badly dented the air-con unit was to gauge the damage of its impact.
