Singaporean actor and now one of Malaysia’s biggest film stars Mohamed Hadi Putra or Ady Putra as he’s better known, is caught up in yet another scandal, this time a lewd photo exchange with a Malaysian woman.
Ady Putra’s personal life was made a spectacle last year after he filed for divorce from film producer Aida Yusof, his wife of six years. Speculation was rife that there was a third party involved, with many naming hot favourite actress, divorcee Nora Danish. All sides denied Danish was involved and Putra has since retracted the divorce, claiming their marriage was better than before in a The New Paper (TNP)interview in September last year.
But it looks like Singapore’s latest big export—who recently starred in Shah Rukh Khan’s Don 2—continues to face tough times ahead.
Yesterday, socio-political site Shahalamkini and online news portal Mynewshub reported that a Malaysian businessman claims the star has been having an affair with his wife. In the articles, it was said that the businessman had discovered the exchange of lewd text messages and images when he was browsing his wife’s phone on August 7 this year and had called Putra to verify this.
According to the same reports Ady Putra and the wife in question, reported by Mynewshub to be 30-year-old Nooraida Abdul Talib, admitted on the call that they did exchange messages and photos, but “only for fun” as they’d never even met before. They had only known each other for a week before they were “discovered”.

Putra is said to have since made a police report (see photo below) at a police station in Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur where he now lives with his wife and adopted daughter, after he received a call from the woman’s husband. In the report, Putra said the man not only threatened to ruin his acting career and drive him out of Malaysia, he also asked Putra to divorce his wife and come to Johor Bahru alone to meet him.
