Singaporean actor Ady Putra, who’s been under investigation since August this year for exchanging lewd messages and photos with a Malaysian fan, has told the Straits Times that he and his film producer wife Aida Yusof “are fine and are carrying on as per normal”.
He was also reported to have said in a phone call from Malaysia, “She’s calm and cool because she knows me… Our marriage is still strong and well.”
According to Ady, he will soon know the outcome as investigations draw to a close.
A 56-year-old businessman had reported Ady to the police in early August when he discovered “offensive sexual remarks” and “photographs of Adi’s private parts” in his wife’s phone at a fast food restaurant in Jalan Skudai-Pontian. He was said to have made a threatening call to Ady the same day, after which Ady also reported him to the police.
