This morning, commuters in Punggol found themselves stuck in one heck of a nightmarish traffic jam. It was an accident that occurred around 6.40am on the Tampines Expressway (TPE) before the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) exit by Lorong Halus that caused the massive pile-up.
It is believed that two cars and two motorcycles were involved in the accident. The Singapore Civil Defence Force deployed an ambulance to the scene to take two people to Changi General Hospital.
Many who found themselves trapped in the monstrous morning rush hour took to social media to warn others of the congestion.
