A seriously unhinged flasher just got himself a five-month jail sentenced for committing yet another obscene act in a public place.
In his latest offence, 54-year-old Samyapal Muthusamy exposed himself to a 28-year-old woman while travelling on the MRT earlier in July, TODAY reports. The victim had fallen asleep, and Samyapal sat beside her and started to rub his penis.
He then moved to another seat opposite the victim after the victim woke up — she felt him leaning on her shoulder. Feeling suspicious, the victim snapped a picture of him on his phone and in response he unzipped his pants and fondled himself while looking straight at her. His perverse deed was recorded on her phone.
The fondling went on for a couple of seconds before he zipped up his pants. Both she and Samyapal alighted the train when it stopped at Bukit Gombak Station, and the victim hid in a 7-Eleven store out of fear. Later on, she told a friend about the incident.
In court, it was revealed that he had been fined and jailed numerous times between 1987 and 2013 for multiple obscene acts in public places. Just prior to his latest misconduct, Samyapal went nude in a private area, but was seen by members of the public.
For his “extremely brazen” act, the serial flasher could have been fined and/or jailed for up to a year. Just keep him off the streets, guys.
