A 23-year-old man was arrested in a case of outrage of modesty at Boon Lay Way yesterday.
Police apprehended the suspect after receiving a call for assistance from the 37-year-old female victim, who’d nabbed her attacker with the help of a helpful passerby. They managed to detain the suspect until the authorities arrived.
Investigations are still ongoing. Upon conviction, the suspect may face up to a two-year jail sentence, or fined, with caning.
