The initial lineup for this year’s edition of Baybeats Festival — happening from June 27 — 29 across four stages in the Esplanade area — is out.
There will be 52 performances in total, of which 36 acts are from Singapore.
Amongst them are 53A’s Bani Hidir, indie darling Inch Chua and progressive rock group Monster Cat (top photo).
This year’s event will also feature the results of a LASALLE mentorship programme, during which final-year Diploma in Broadcast Media students get involved in both the behind-the-scenes and front-of-camera work in producing music videos for artists like Aspectrum, Fall of Mirra and WhileTheKidsAreSurreal (watch the video at the bottom of the story).
Here’s the full list of acts announced — one final regional act will be released later, along with the performance schedule for the Observation Deck:

Admission to the festival is free. More information on the Baybeats Festival Facebook and website.
