Stray dog caretakers, take note — there are free dry kibbles up for grabs for all your feeding needs.
Derrick Tan — Education President of animal welfare society Voices for Animals — came into possession of three whole tonnes of dry kibbles for dogs that’ll expire in a months time. Clearly, all of it can’t be consumed by the dogs under his care by June, so he’s giving them away to any community dog feeders who need them.
The fear of folks taking advantage of the free kibbles and re-selling them is real however, and he insists that identification is needed to make sure the food gets used appropriately.
