Three men will be charged today after being arrested on suspicion of brawling outside sleaze destination Orchard Towers.

Dozens of men got into sweaty street fistfights, throwing punches recklessly early Sunday morning near the intersection of Claymore Drive and Orchard Road.

A portion of the wild melee was caught on tape; police are investigating.

The Singapore Police Force said last night that it was alerted to the incident at about 5:15am on Sunday, but all suspects had fled before officers arrived. With the help of CCTV footage, they arrested three men aged 22 to 30.

The clip showed two separate but concurrent fights targeting two men while onlookers stood watching.

The police added that the victims, two men aged 20 and 30, sustained minor injuries.

It is common for fights to occur in the area packed with drinking holes. The police said law and order in Orchard Towers remains a concern as it has not improved over the years despite feedback from neighboring residents.

If found guilty of rioting, the suspects could be jailed for up to seven years and caned.
