It’s been over 72 hours since Steward Lee Goon Hong went missing since Friday afternoon — a disappearance that prompted a search party of around 70 people to scour areas such as Bukit Timah Hill, Dairy Farm, Mandai, Zhenghua and the Rail Corridor, but to no avail.

These places were specifically picked out as Steward is known to be an avid hiker, and in the words of his sister Yunqin Lee, she mentioned that those spots are where he frequents.

The search began yesterday morning at 9am and ended at 1pm.

The 1.79m tall Mr Lee had left his phone at home that day, which wasn’t particularly unusual as he was known to do so. However, he never failed to inform his family if he was staying out, according to Lee’s interview with The Straits Times.

But when he failed to return home without notifying anyone, the family was worried enough to trigger a search at the aforementioned areas over the weekends beginning with areas in Bukit Panjang and libraries which Lee added that he also frequents.

He was last seen at Block 407 Fajar Road at 2pm that Friday wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans with slippers and sporting a pair of black-rimmed glasses. Those with relevant information can call the police hotline at 1800-255-0000.
