On Aug. 8, police arrested a total of 17 women, aged between 20 and 36, in an operation at a public entertainment outlet in Newton Road.
The six-hour operation conducted by Tanglin Police Division uncovered suspects linked to illegal employment, as well as crimes under the Miscellaneous Offenses Act.
Investigations are still undergoing.
