14-year-old parkour enthusiast falls to her death from 4th storey in school

This is why you leave freerunning to the pros.

A 14-year-old student of Spectra Secondary School inadvertently fell to her death from the fourth storey on Tuesday morning while attempting some parkour moves.

The New Paper reports that Shina Adriana Hendricks was trying to demonstrate a jump when she lost her balance and fell. She was found on the concrete ground with several injuries, and teachers tried to revive her through cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

First taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital before she transferred to the KK Women’s and Children’s hospital, she succumbed to her injuries.

Spectra Secondary School principal Krishnan Aravinathan promised that his staff will provide support to the family and the school community as well. Police are investigating the incident as a case of misadventure.
