$10k fine for relentless UAE teacher who molested three SIA girls on flight

Editor’s note: Oops, it’s come to our attention that this incident actually happened three years ago. We apologise for recycling old news. The story may no longer be relevant, but it sure is notable and worth sharing.

For the repulsive act of molesting three Singapore Airlines (SIA) stewardesses, a father of five has just been fined $10,000 after pleading guilty to two counts of outrage of modesty, Asia One reports.

The United Arab Emirates man was truly the best exemplary figure for his kids, when he brushed his hand against the thighs and buttocks of the flight attendants while on a flight from Dubai to Singapore with his family on Aug 19.

41-year-old school teacher (yeap, he’s a teacher) Ahmad Abdulla Saleh Alyasi first brushed his hand against a 23-year-old flight attendant’s thigh, and received no rebuke. He then touched the buttock of a 27-year-old stewardess (while attending to his daughter), to which he got a death glare. He apologised and walked away.

Three and a half hours later, the relentless pervert then touched the buttocks of another air stewardess who had was arranging in-flight magazines. After a proper confrontation, he apologised again and went off.

In Singapore however, he wasn’t walking away that easily. Police arrested him as soon as he arrived in the country.

In court, he pleaded guilty to two counts of outrage of modesty, expressing his remorse about his first ever offence. The District Judge however was having none of that shit and slapped a heavy fine on Ahmad.
