So… if you haven’t heard, the Speak Good English Movement distributed 10,000 complimentary copies of its Grammar Rules guidebook on Monday. Given out on a first come, first served basis at the Singapore Philatelic Museum and Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall, the pocket-sized item went out of stock in just two days.

Since we all know how much Singaporeans love their free stuff, no one was surprised that people queued up to get their hands on it.

For those who managed to get a copy of the book, hopefully you’ve been reading about adverbs, conjunctions and all the other delightful things that wannabe Grammar Nazis should know, because now you have no excuse for making all the common Singaporean errors — including mistakes like ‘tomorrow is my off day’ and the horrendously overused ‘please revert’.

But if you weren’t one of the 10,000 lucky ones (or if you prefer to read stuff on your phone/computer/tablet), here’s a PDF version of the book.
